I would have somebody in Tokyo physically go to a store to get the shirts. I know the one in Roppongi hills always was always stocked w/ the latest shirts even though the online stores always sell out...

The store is Atsui Tokyo on 1st downtown. They have an OK selection of tees in most sizes, plus some jeans and jackets and whatnot.

Holy crap that was fast. Yeah I kinda know what the demand on their stuff is like, just not sure if I'm barking up the right tree - looking for something similar after watching this jap movie Hero. Think it's HG but wanna be sure.

Kimura Takuya wears alot of HG. I need to watch the movie, the drama and tv special were hilarious.

Back on topic.

Giant Peach sells the old season tees

You guys are joking right? Who would want to wear this shit?

It's Japanese x eurotrash x hipster collab.

Skulls, music icons and naked chicks, how cliche can you get?

Some of the Kurt cobain ones are decent but most of the other stuff, if it didn't say Hysteric Glamour on it, i would assume Urban outfitters.

Completely agree.

I tend to put Hysteric Glamour, Hare and Lad Musician in the same waste bucket.

The only thing I will say is, Hysteric Glamour used to be good, like 3, 4 years ago. It's all gone down hill since then.

Hysteric Glamour with Hare and Lad Musician?! Hysteric Glamour has been around for more than two decades. It's probably one the first Japanese labels to do "rock" w/ a 60s-70s vibe. Lad Musician is mod contemporary. And Hare is a just a cheap knock off label. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

I wasn't comparing the labels. When I mean, I put them all in to the same waste bucket. I mean they're all shit Japanese labels. I couldn't careless if one was rock, one was mod. They all fall under the same category, "shit".

word

but i never liked hg. at least lad musician is trying to flip the script nowadays.

i didnt read this whole thread. i think it's obvious enough that none of these labels are related, at least to the point where he wouldnt need to prove that he knows so.

dum,

my advice to you is to not to wear hg. if you're jap you can sometimes get away with it, because it's a kinda a "lineage" type label with longevity (if you're over 28 it helps). if you must, i'd say fuck the tees. just go for the jackets. the denim is overpriced and i don't picture you wearing alota damaged shit. hg is st8 hollywood shit for jp.

c'mon, recon and union used to stock it.

Lad Musician is by no measure a "shit" label IMO but I guess the extend of your fashion knowledge is from what you read on the internet...
