Manhattan hostels..lodging for large group?

I've been looking for hostels or other places that will accomodate large groups for hours with no luck..i'm going to manhattan with a group of nine..anyone know somewhere in manhattan that we could stay? i've never stayed in a hostel before..but i'd like to have a private room with my friends instead of sharing rooms with strangers.
