Help required - Shoe shopping

I'm looking for two pairs of shoes, one dressier and one pair of daily shoes. I've been wearing the same beat up adidas for more than a year and they're really getting nasty.

I've tried on soooo many pairs of shoes from converse to carpe diem and nothing looked right on me. I have long feet (12/45/30), maybe that's why. So far the only shoes that I almost bought were Yohji hi-top sneakers and Jil Sander dress shoes. I also saw some cool (sample) Avoid gray dress shoes with blue patten leather accents, might have to ask them to give them to me

I have an unlimited budget (I'm that desperate!) so give me all the suggestions you might have.

Here's a few points to help narrow down the search.

Dress shoes:

- Nothing pointy

- Nothing square

- Boots are prefered, but it doesn,t matter too much

- Suede is cool (in gray it's very cool)

- Nothing falshy (distressing, laces, etc.)

Sneakers

- Nothing pointy

- Nothing square

- Hi-top prefered

- No very big logos (aka nike)

- No german army sneakers

try the adicolor savilles...for sneakers....

I've tried them on and they look horrible on my feet, unfortunately.

Prices are not that bad, the yohji sneakers, wern't THAT pricey...

Thanks for the recommendation but I find visvims to be overpriced and I don't really like their aesthetic personally.

I'm going for something more low profile and less bulky. I guess I'll keep hunting here...

yes, and not a fan of the look. I guess I should give a few pointers of my style, but it's kinda hard to do. Argh, just forget this thread, I'll come up with something eventually I guess.

ferragamo "cancun" styled dress shoes seem to fit your description, except they're leather and not boots. they even have extra long toe room, because that's the style they're going for this season. check out the ferragamo website or nordstroms, neiman marcus, etc.

Dress shoes (boots): really depends on what unlimited means, I'd go from Tyrwhitt loakes to Sutor Mantelassis, zegna, Santoni or whatever (not a fan of english styling in most cases and they're too "business" for more casual occasions) or some of the "daintier" releases by designers (Helmut Lang, Jil Sander, Costume National, Dior homme, Moma, Varvatos, Paul Smith,Barbato, Barrett, Fiorentini+baker, Margiela, MiuMiu, etc)
