fresh to ny - sick of it all - what's new?

just made my jaunt over the pond to good ol nyc. I'm quite sick of the usual shops that everyone talks about - Supreme, Alife, Nom de Guerre, Bape, Recon - same overpriced crap. Ain't NY got any new shit?! Don't mean to sound so negative - but really. How much more can we take from these shops - paying for a lame name is all. ah, maybe i'll just go grab a pint instead and do some exploring. any help on where to go and some new places to check out would be brilliant. cheers.

thanks - i just ventured about and found some interesting place. went to eldridge street - pretty fresh there - i 'm liking nort. also headed through rivington street and found a few good places too. i really like that sugarhead quarters - brilliant brands there - i got this old school kool g rap shirt there - it's amazing and also found that gravis black box bag i've been searching for since tokyo -i can call myself a lucky bastard now, and there's a great cake shop on that street- sugar sweet sunshine - got me a good cup of tea and a bit of cake. Next venture will definitely be to check your recommends out. cheers.
