Can anyone speak to the quality of the wool Gram shoes as opposed to the waxed cotton? I don't know if I want these for winter wear or for spring...

anybody know what kind of wax they use on/comes with the shoes?

i really like the idea of the waxed cotton but some of their designs look rather awful and the only ones i like they dont have my size in (on 111vox)

i thought maybe i could try this with high top converses to see how it works out

British Millerain Original Wax Dressing come with the shoes but I guess that any Cotton Wax should do the trick if you can't find that particular brand where you live.

It's more of a 10.5-11. I wear a size 9s, so when I put on the shoes, I definitely feel that the extra inch is way too much for me.

I also found a store in Vegas that they sell to.... it's called vasari... also zebra club in Seattle stocks alot of them supposedly.

Anyways, i got myself a pair of the 406's in White denim and they are flipping so sic... so comfy... and yes they run just a tad big... in the pointed toe.. i wear a 43, but in the round toe i wear a 44.

The wax cotton is cool... just that dust and lint can get stuck onto it while it's still sticky and a bitch to get off.

The Gram wool shoes are very warm, vented, and my feet didn't get wet all winter. They also had excellent traction . I haven't worn them since the last snow fall.
