MISTER FREEDOM

Looks great man. And to steal them for less than $300 is great. That sheen should wear off after some washes.

They shouldn't, or if they do, they should stretch back out, especially the denim. I would only hang dry regardless.

The chinos look good on ya.

Thanks Zissou.

Well, it looks like JCREW no longer sells MF on their site. I couldn't find any MF - Just today, I was looking at the white MF chambray on the site.

...they sometimes take the MF stuff off the website while they are running a sale or distributing certain promo codes. It's possible that they may not carry them any more, but I have noticed a similar pattern in the past and they ended up back on the website a few days later.

For french speakers, a really interesting interview of Christophe Loiron.

http://www.hellskitchen.fr/mister-freedom-brut-de-decoffrage/

He told an horible story about a buddy of him who imported prenium selevge denim from japan in the way to craft it in the USA. When he came to the US factory to pick up his order, he realized that they cut the selvage line and do an horible overlock striching instead, cause they were not familiar with selvage work. Everything was send to trash.

Zissou the last thing you need is another badass jacket. I don't even know how you make the decision between Cameraman and MFSC Peacoat in the morning...

I'm telling you, it's not easy.

I do need a good jacket for riding my motorcycle, and what better one to choose?

marineabilly is that an ace belt? nice fit on the pants

No it's not. I actually got that belt from the mall 'cause the color matched a pair of my 1940's Acme Cowboy Boots I had and had a buddy stud it up about eight years ago. The buckle is from Japan but not an Ace. I now stud my own belts and have to make one just to compliment these awesome pants.

Man, in hindsight, I really should have waited to pick up all three chambray utility shirts. It would have been nice to have one of them be the chambray mechanic's shirt.

I'm glad I didn't pick up the dark blue chambray @ J Crew last weekend. Now I can justify my dark blue mechanics shirt purchase. I can't wait to see everything. Looking forward to trying on the Midnight Breezer.

Thanks Zissou.

J Crew is having a sale, so they took down all the designer pieces. Last time they didn't and a lot of people picked up chambrays and the Muholland Master for 30% off. I regret my decision not to pick that jacket up.

Nice pants marineabilly. I take it they will develop the same character as my mulholland jacket. As advertised, they are really conforming nicely to my body and taking on qualities similar to my leather jackets, such as what you see on my sleeves:
