Japanese jeans with 36" inseams

In my search for a pair of japanese jeans long (36"+) inseams have been a necessity and I am still trying to compile a list of all Japanese makers that have 36" inseams, as well as those that do not. This is 36" after shrinking by the way. I figure this is important to others as well so how about we make a list. I will post what I know for sure at this time and everyone else can help fill out the list. Please state if you are sure about the measurement, because for some jeans I have conflicting information(such as from Bears which I am hesitant to trust at this point).

Sugar Cane:

No. Allegedly their 38 waist size has a 36 leg, but if you look at the measurements for a pair of factory one wash 38 x 36, they actually come in at closer to 34 unfortunately.

Denimes:

Had a pair, after one cold soak, they shrank down to 36.5, and was convinced they would shrink much further once washed properly in hot water, so had to sell them.

My understanding is that there is just no need for true 36 lengths in Japan, so I think the two brands you listed are probably it.

Updated the list. Thanks for the input guys. As fars as Denimes, can anyone confirm or disprove that they shrink to less than a 36. Also chime in if we are wrong. As far as 44" inseams that sounds really unlikely. Im all for longer inseams but thats like throwing material away. Youd have to be 8 feet tall to wear a 44 inseam.

Pretty sure all Flatheads shrink to 36, at least my 3001 did

Thanks, I thought I saw one of their tags that read L36 but I wasnt sure if that was pre or post wash.

As for 36 being too long, I think its nice when its at least an option. Its easy to hem jeans if they are too long. But its pretty hard to make them longer if you are tall. I bet some people would like the extra length just to let them bunch up, or to cuff too. For me though I just need a 36 so I dont look like im wearing man capris.

Well I was just doing a little research on Flathead and their labels definitely read 36 but a couple places list measurements closer to 34, mainly just the Bears rakuten site. Should I just not trust any Bears measurements?

Anyways any other Flathead owners could you speak up about their inseams? Also any denime owners.
