Question About Helmut Lang Classic Denim

Hi

I have a lot of Helmut Lang jeans but all of them are washed except for a pair of what is called Classic Jeans (or Denim). They seem like the one wash sort as the denim is still dark but does not seem raw. I have worn them a few times and have had them washed and was wondering if it is too late to start wearing them to achieve the honeycombs and natural fading by continuous wear or is that too late since they have been washed already.

well, you can get wear on any pair of jeans, it'll just take a lot longer on ones that have been washed, distressed, etc. if they don't seem raw (I assume you mean they aren't stiff) then it's going to take a while. i would say just get a pair of raw. you'll probably be happier in the end.

Thks for your help. I do already have raw APC NS. Was just wondering if I could do the same with the Helmuts and not have wasted them by washing. They were stiff - just not as stiff or slubby. Was just wondering if anyone else had experience with the same style Classic Denim

I have a pair of HL Classic Fit Classic Denim that are one of my fave pairs of jeans. I don't think they wear and fade like raw, but they are great jeans.
