Hello all,

As a result of having lost some weight and dropping a coupla sizes, I have a sizeable chunk of my Japanese denim up for sale. 6 pairs in total, 3 have been soaked to get the shrinking out of the way, the other 3 are brand new with all tags attached.

Sadly my own digi cam that was capable of taking fine pics like this . .

. . has died and so I’ve borrowed my sister’s cam – apologies for the poor quality. To allow potential buyers to see the details of each pair, I’ve quoted links to rakuten stores of the jeans in question. Hope this helps!

Before we start let me save you from wasting your time by saying that:

- All of these will suit a natural W31-32 (maybe even up to a 33 if you like your jeans snug)

- I am in London, UK and will happily meet UK SF members to save on shipping - - The prices are fair and thus at this time I’m not open to negotiation (whatever remains will end up on the Bay of e!)

- I may have only been a SF member for about 4 months but I’ve been trading on eBay for 5 years and still maintain a 100% fb rating and have a verified premier Paypal account so you can pay me via a credit card if you like

1. Sugar Cane ‘Ryukyuai’ Natural Indigo Lee Repros SC40300N tagged W30

Features: 14.25oz 50% cotton / 50% sugar millet natural indigo denim just like the Hawaii’s and Edo Ai’s (these retail for the same price) plus the denim is very dark, left hand and features small tufty white balls of cotton! The fit is very flattering and quite slim.

Other details: These were soaked till damp then worn till dry. They were not worn with the waistband under duress so they’ll easily stretch to a 32 need be. Comes complete with the original tags plus the printed cloth & drawstring bag.

Measurements:

Waist: Around the inside waistband = 31.4†/ back of waistband laid flat = 15â€

2. Sugar Cane ‘Edo Ai’ Natural Indigo SC40500N tagged W30

Features: 14.25oz 50% cotton / 50% sugar millet natural indigo denim just like the Hawaii’s plus the denim has a beautiful striated green colour which my sister’s cam has missed completely sadly – please use the rakuten pics as a guide. The fit is very flattering and fairly relaxed.

Other details: These were soaked till damp then worn till dry. They were not worn with the waistband under duress so they’ll easily stretch to a 32 need be. Comes complete with the original tags plus the printed cloth & drawstring bag.

3. Warehouse 1950’s Duckdiggers tagged W30

Features: 13.76oz extra coarse weave denim featuring slubby warp & weft threads – the texture is just beautiful. It was Ringring’s posts that got me on to these and I can see why he loves them so much! They fit beautifully, quite fitted if 31-32 is your true waist size or a bit relaxed if you wear them on your hips. They’re so blue they almost look black.

Other details: These were soaked then dried – these have never been worn. I have recently replaced this pair with a W28 model and can say from experience with those that the denim used on the Duckdiggers is stretchier than your average – these will easily give to 32 or even 33 need be.

Features: For those who don’t already know, A limited edition of 400 pairs.17oz slubby black denim that’s designed to fade like indigo jeans. Slim fitting and they fit amazingly well.

Other details: Brand new with tags, as they arrived direct from Samurai. The waist will shrink an inch following a warm soak but will quickly stretch right back out to raw size upon wear. The inseam shrinks to a genuine 36â€.

Features: 21oz denim! The cutest back pocket shape and stitch pattern – fact!!

Other details: Brand new with tags. They feature a beautiful thick leather patch. Due to the weight of the denim these don’t really shrink in the waist at all. They do however lose about 2†in length so expect a genuine 34†inseam post soak. These are quite a high waisted relaxed fit cut. I love the fit on my W29 pair xcoldricex managed to get me before he left Japan!

6. Studio D’Artisan D-1237 W30

Features: Another pair of jeans that Ringring’s posts over on Style Forum led me to! In many ways the denim used on these resembles that used on the Warehouse Duckdiggers only these are even slubbier – they feel like sand paper to the touch! Both warp and weft threads are slubby. The orange thread used on the jeans featured a twin thread stitch and the sand coloured thread used on the arcuates for example is extra thick.

Other details: I ordered these direct from More-Net and they’re still brand new with tags. They advised me that these would shrink 7-9cm in the waist and 5-8cm in length. I suspect however that like the Duckdiggers, the waistband will stretch back to what they measure raw. SDA pockets are my favourites, these are cute and a tad smaller than usual, top to the tip of the bottom of the pocket they measure just over 6.5â€. They are a slim fit.

I've just trawled a load of Rakuten sites looking for worn pics without luck and sadly I don't have any pics of them on If I took some pics of them on now they would hang on me a bit cos of the weight loss and wouldn't really give you an accurate idea. I'll try to find some worn pics on some other sites maybe . . .watch this space.
