We at Linjer are excited to introduce our brand! 

Linjer offers fine leather goods without the luxury markup.

 

We started Linjer because of our own struggles to find a high-quality leather briefcase for less than $1,000. We knew that luxury brands often mark up their leather goods by 10 to 15x, so we thought: why don’t we start our own brand, sell directly to customers and cut out all the other unnecessary costs? Then, more people can actually afford to buy a high-quality leather briefcase.
 
And that’s exactly what we did. 

 

We launched an Indiegogo campaign where you can pre-order our products at a discount. These are the lowest prices you’ll ever see on our products.

Some information about our products:
 

-Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. Hides originate from Central Europe and are tanned in Turkey with extracts from chestnut, quebracho and mimosa. The leather is custom-made for us, smells sweet and develops a patina over time.
-YKK Excella zippers. The very best from YKK.
-Stellar craftsmanship. We work with a fantastic manufacturer that also works with other highly-respected brands.
-Minimalist, classic design. We design every product in-house and we keep our logos discreet.
-Exceptional value. If our products came out of the factory with a luxury label on them, they would easily cost 3 to 4 times as much.

Haha - good one! Linjer means "lines" in Norwegian (I am from Norway). The pictorial symbolizes "lines".

On the messenger bag, how does the flap secure? It makes no mention in the description and the pics don't really show anything.  Is the strap easily removed and replaced? How heavy is it?

All great questions! The strap is not removable on the messenger bag (no other way of carrying it). The flap is not secured, we went with a zipper closure at the opening instead. The weight is 1.4kg.
