No Shrink

Hi Folks

Bought new pair of Edwin's ED-47 the other day and usally with selvage you shrink to fit but these fit pretty good already. Now i have read quite a few post's on washig but did not find any on the fact i don't want to shrink em. So any ideas apart from Dry Cleaning ?

Ya, seriously.

OK, first I would suggest reading the stickied encyclopedia at the top of this section. There is a bunch of stuff on washing. Selvage does not mean shrink to fit, not-snaforized does. Further, cold soaking in oppose to hot washing will minimize shrinkage if you do not want to shrink, or wearing the jeans while wet, to stretch them back out. Drycleaning of course, will be the best if you refuse to let them touch water, but this will affect the fading process.

P.S. dont know if you found out Max, but Edwins dont shrink... they are sanforirzed which is a word you'll see a lot on here.

Special processing pre-jeans construction, which prevents shrinkage.
