Got my Johnbull SC008's finally! They're the tightest jeans I've ever worn, but I'm getting used to them. The rise is indeed low (3 buttons!). Fit pics:

I was reading DNR (p.28 8/11/2008) and it said that John Bull is making it's "debut" at Bloomingdale's some time in September. Maybe that's partly why BiG ditched them?
