Mmm... Lee Japan 101Z is the closest I can think of, in terms of fit.

In addition, both the Lee Japan 101B/Z and the Evisu No. 2 'tiger-line' (i.e. orange and black) selvage are sanforized green-cast denim. [The older 'first type' Evisu No. 2 red-line selvage was red-cast, but this is out of production, although you can still find deadstock samples.]

You might also try the Samurai SO110XJ. However, these are not sanforized like the Evisu No. 2 and Lee 101Z, so size up from your normal No. 2 Evisu size.

thanks for the info,i have just today picked up a pair of denime lot 318.They were only £50 and fit me a lot slimmer than my sc 1947's.

I think I remember reading that the Evisu 2000 line is a similar fit to the 1966 Levi's, or is that 2001? I forget.
