Just came on a movie channel and it had been years since I last saw it. Anyways, I was going crazy over Vincent's wardrobe. From the jacket to the red boots, way ahead of its time. The cosume designer Alexis Scott doesn't appear to have any other marks on his/her resume as notable as this. But I suppose what I'm wondering is if these were designer labels/unbelievably perfect vintage finds. I'm especially curious about the trousers as those would be the item I could most easily pull off.

i would find it really hard to believe gallo did not style himself. also, he did style/hair/makeup/etc. for christina ricci.

I recently saw this too and I was thinking the same exact thing as you. Gallo was killin it in those red boots and the tapered trousers. As far as the movie itself I thought it was pretty good, but not great.

Brown Bunny was fucking incredible; but as far as the wardrobe, the Adidas windbreaker can't match up to '66. Although, he was wearing some nicely faded levis in Brown Bunny; I wonder if anyone can identify them.

that scene was infamous in my circles long before the movie came out. i thought the movie was simple, beautiful, and suprisingly moving. i dont really see what the big deal was but i went to art school so im used to somewhat indulgent films.
