Why do we wear like this ? the big thinking

Hi all,

I wanted to talk about why ? and how ? we prefer some clothes more than others.

maybe you like this shirt because its reminds you something cool ?

maybe you like this shirt because the color on it reminds you something cool ?

maybe you like this shirt because everybody talks about it and you tell to yourself that you will be accepted by others wearing it ? (Hypized)

hum anyway, also in my opinion, what you lived in your life, how you grew up and everything count in the art of choosing the right clothes.

Do we really buy something because we really like it ? some people will say if i buy its because i like it ! you dumb boy !

But dont you think that maybe SOMETHING did that you like that, and so maybe if there wasn't that SOMETHING you didn't like it ?

What do y'all thing about this ?

peace

i think i just get fixated on a thing, i may not even like it, but it is all i can think about; the harder it is to get, the more i want it; the less i see of it, the greater the appeal. it is the void that attracts me. it pulls me closer with a seductive force------resistance only gives it strength. like a chinese finger knot that constricts the more one struggles. ultimately, this is a death wish. and we are choosing our burial shrouds.

i did the buddhist thing for a while, where i sold a lot of stuff because the less you have the less burden you have. of course, being that i post here now, i am back to buying a lot of stuff. ha.

i have clothes that i really like and there are some i think i don't really like but, like denimdestroyedmylife said, i was fixated on it, and i had to have it. i mean i still like them, but not as much as some.

it's the cycle of wanting man! i guess we're all trying to fill some kind of void with all these materialistic things.

I think that every aspect of your life and the way that it constantly changes and evolves follows you along your path of choosing the objects that you buy. You may really love something and then 2 or 3 yrs down the road can't possibly recall why you had to have it so much or what would possess you to buy something like it. Society also plays an important factor creating new materials and prints patterns etc.. otherwise we would all look the same. In the world around us everything we see, do, interact with all plays a part in our choices through life. This inevitably cooresponds with our buying opportunities.
