Los Angeles artist Jayne Min paid homage to the French luxury house of Celine in 2011 by creating a limited run of skateboards using prints from their SS11 collection.

The concept was simple; 3 designs with 30 decks per design. Highly collectable, the decks have been known to fetch $6,000 each at auction.

Each design sold out in a matter of minutes, never to be reproduced again. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the most exciting print- that of the blouse which Kanye West famously wore at Coachella in 2011. Arguably, Celine's most recognisable print during the reign of Phoebe Philo.

For the last year, this piece of pop culture history has sat next to my bookshelf in my London living room.
