penguin selvedge

has anyone had any experience with the original penguin raw selvedge (it says they're a straight cut, but theyre pretty loose in the thigh)? i saw them at nordstrom rack for 70 bucks down from 195. normally i would've bought them, but i'm a bit strapped for cash and i'm not exactly lacking jeans. are they worth it?

there was a thread posted on this earlier this month. the fit is really crappy, i would say more baggy than straight leg. it just didn't fit/look right. the consensus was that these jeans pretty much sucked.

yeah the fit kinda turned me off. basically the only thing that it had going for it was the price. i guess i'll just save up and wait for something better.
