Serious abrasion on my jeans.......

Had some serious abrasion and that resulted in alot of "fibres/threads fur" on my jeans..... now they are like just sticking out ... like those velvet cloth... know what i mean? Anyway to smooth out those parts? is the fabric going to tear soon in those parts since alot of fibre is been rub off, i presume....

Yeah it'll probably become a hole, but not for awhile hopefully. Either way, it'll add character to the jeans.

Pages and pages on how to get great personalized wear on one's jeans, and you are worried about abraded cloth.

You could sew a Mr. Natural patch over it, or maybe sell them in supermarket and buy a new pair?

I don't think the fibers can be restored, if that's what you're asking. Though jeans restoration may be our future... "hey man I cherried out some 2004 'Canes, they are hella mint!"

thing is there' s this BIg patch of rough area with fibres sticking up... my jeans seems "hairy" now.. i certainly don't need such a big hole... impossible to mend....

make a big patch out of some old jeans. or even better, get some 45rps and cut them up for patches, that would be dope.

i can't see any detail in that picture, but the "serious abrasion" seems hardly serious. your expensive pants will be just fine.

man thats what u want is your jeans to do the holes naturally to fit your style.

There are people who go and buy already ripped jeans from neman marcus and the rips aint even matched wit their body cuz they manufactured rips not personal.
