Having handled this thing in person, I can also attest that it is mind-bogglingly well-made. Basically as close to perfection in a backpack as you can get.

that said... the price is far from perfect, but, if you're looking for the perfect pack, cost-no-object -- this would be it.

hah, the LBTY ones are actually produced in a lot less quantity and are significantly rarer. I got it because I wanted the ultimate visvim flair =P. However, had I known that you would have thrown up in excitement, i probably would have bought the Elk and enjoyed the spectacle.
