Pre-stories / description / pics / price, I would like to say that I know very little about computers. I would prefer a NYC deal for this, as I would like the potential buyer to be able to see & use this/these before committing. I also like the idea of not shipping them, or at least not shipping the macbook. I am selling both for really cheap, but I want to make sure that the buyer is happy with the items not just the price.

Stories and descriptions:

Since getting the macbookair about 2 years ago, I don't think I have turned this macbook on twice. back to this in a minute...

macbook -sold- Its originally from 2006 and it still works, except it always needs to be plugged in (battery does not hold charge), and it is slower than new models. It is white, has some scratches and 'off-white' dirty areas, but overall is in pretty good shape.

back to why I am selling it ... at the time i bought the macbookair, I was told by apple that my macbook was too old to be compatible with my new iPhone 4 that I had just bought from them the day before, for 2 reasons: 1, it still had leopard OS, and 2, the leopard OS could not be upgraded to snow leopard OS (to be compatible with iPhone 4) because the hard-drive was totally full. So, I was going to get an upgraded hard-drive, then upgrade to snow leopard, and ... decided to just buy the macbookair since that was an easy less than 5 minute solution to the compatability problem, and the only way my new phone would sync that same day with all my music.

iPhone 3G -sold- This is the same reason my iPhone 3G is available for sale. It is the bigger 16G model. works perfectly. I upgraded to the 4 for more storage space, still used this as an iPod for a little while at work, but no need for it really. it is white also. No picture of that, as its still in my desk at work.

so, both the iPhone and this macbook have pretty much just sat from then. As I said, the macbook runs a bit slow. It may have a virus, or it may just be old. Not sure, but tekserve basically said it would be like brand new for about $400. They verified that it was still in good operating condition and when wiped clean and upgraded it would be like brand new. I am just impatient, so I went the quick route of buying a new thing rather than fixing my old thing.

Anyways, all info about the computer can be read about here:
