i saw it today. never was a big sidekick guy, was always into treos. maybe i will switch over?

I wouldnt switch over for shit... the Sidekick is a horrible piece of equipment, I can't imagine they improved the III all that much.

Stick with a real smartphone.

i love my blackberry, but i suppose it would make sense if i was chatting on aim all day and couldn't be near a computer

The sidekick has the be the stupidest phone idea ever. My sister is already on her second on, cause of the fact that the first one got stolen. Also, why even bother with something that lets you be on AIM all day? Here's what you do if you want to be on AIM all day. 1) Get cable internet from your local cable internet provider, 2) go and buy a wireless card, router, and laptop, 3) get online and download AIM.

Okay, so basically, you're admitting to the fact that the only thing a Sidekick does effectively is let you chat on Aim. Games, suck. Organizing capabilities, suck. Phone reception, sucks.

My Verizon VX9800 lets me chat on AIM, I have stellar reception everywhere, and I keep contacts, events, and personal notes all organized on it too. Add in the fact that I can watch movies on it, and- remind me why you'd want a Sidekick again?

hmmm. in japan, there's no equivalent to the sidekick. most people there are very good at chatting on their phone.

anyways, sidekicks are for children. im waiting for sony ericsson p990.
