I found brand new helmut lang skinny jeans for 15 dollars and they look great on my legs. the problem is they are about 1.5 inches from fitting at the waist and i can't button them up all the way. is there any way to stretch denim out? has anyone had sucess with any other methods? thanks

for some reason that sounds like a tourture device if you flip it all around...i duno im just sayin shit

sleeping in them helps, but i see where your comming from if you cant button them

start with the buttons that you can, sleep in them at night

and stretch in them in the morning

and then slowly work your way up the buttons and they will fit in time.

Yeah, what Corbin says. :-)

This morning was the first time I wore my new jeans buttoned all the way, without being in more or less constant pain. (Eternal x Di... I mean Bears). When I first got them it took me a couple of hours to button 4 of 5. The day after that I wore them all day without buttoning the last button. Then I soaked the waistband in water and pulled like crazy and wore them with all buttons buttoned for a couple of hours. Now they seem to have given in. :-) (My hips are seriously beaten up though.)

A waistband stretcher sounds like something I should invest in... I'll have to look into that, thanks Keri.

Good luck with the pain, Ciphers!

beefcake, can you post pics of your fit? i'm curious to see how jeans fit when they need to be stretched like that.

sorry for the wait man, and sorry for the crappy camera phone picture.. its all i can offer atm :)

i didn't measure them when i got them, but bears say a W30 is 74cm. measuring them now they are about 84cm (shown in the picture).
