Prom afterparty outift?

Well my prom's tommorow , and I still dont' have an outfit for the afterparty. What's the general attire for an afterprom outfit? I doubt it's the tux, right? Just give me a basic rundown.... slacks.. what type of shoes... etc. Oh, and if ya'll could hook me up w/ pics, that would be cool.

but in all my experience you wear whatever the hell you want to the afterparty, jeans and a blazer seemed to be the common theme at mine

I just were my tux without my jacket afterwards. Got piss drunk, and don't really remember anything after that. I woke up shirtless and in jeans though. So I must have changed at some point.
