Triple Works distressed jeans: what do you think?

I am not a huge fan of distressing but I liked these when I saw them. Would you guys get those to change from wearing dry jeans sometimes?

I swore of distressed jeans with honeycombs in the back. They have to be just right to work.

yeah, personally i'm not a fan of distressing either but i think the honeycombs on these and even the whiskering looks too contrasty. I have a few pairs of jeans with a slight fade to them, and as far as distressing is concerned that's the way to go, I think. No holes, ripes, or extreme whiskering. Just something with a little fading on it. Diesel and Goldsign both do a good job with that.

i do wear pre-distressed jeans from time to time. i especially like guess jeans.

however, you can find some of the best distressing on old levi redlines.

i gotta post pics of the predistressed shit i got in asia this time around....from thailand...2 pairs....old fake pair of evis (selvedge) and levi's (selvedge). They basically have dudes wear the shit out of them, then they sell them back..

i like them. i like some distressed jeans too. i think that they have thier place, just as raw denim has its place. i think poor distressing has just made the sight of it almost unbearable(which i didnt even realize until i came here)

I kinda like them too although normally I would pass on predistressed. I prob would'nt buy them because they look to done in to last very long.

yeah i've seen some fake LVC's on ebay coming from thailand that has some of the best distressing i've seen.

I know one dodgy spot in Mong Kok (the hood of Hong Kong) where they sell those fake distressed LVC with selvage. I am not too sure if they are from Thailand or local triads have hundreds of mainlanders marching in them 24/7 like for a year in abandoned chickenfarms here. The best distressed jeans I ever saw for ~120 bucks.

These triple works look decent, at least they are much more genuinely distressed than PBJ's 1002 I tried last Saturday in Take 5 shop. Rebirth ships internationally so I am tempted.

In Sweden there is a store where you can buy vintage and second hand denim. They have Levi's, Lee, Wrangler and Japanese brands like Sugarcane, Denime, Evisu etc. If I wanted distressed denim, I would buy it there. Of course there is still the problem that the honeycombs may not be at the right height.

The only problem with that, is that those abandoned chicken farms were abandoned because of the bird flu, so when you buy those jeans... you have to pretty much burn them first. Although I hear the burnt look is next fall's trend. 'Score'!
