Fake Check: Martin Margiela 0 10

I just bought this Margiela necklace off ebay:

This is what he sent me:

Now I'm almost 100% sure this necklace is fake because of the detail on the metal Margiela tag and the bullet are completely different from the picture on their ebay site. Also the leather is a different colour. Now, if this is in fact fake what can I do about this? I paid $90, and I would like to get it all back if possible.

i think ebay's policy about fakes is that they are not responsible. it's the natural risk that one takes. although that's where the feedback is at its most useful.

if you paid with paypal you can open up a dispute saying you didn't get it. if they didn't use a tracking method (delivery confirmation, etc), they can't prove it and you'll get your money back

I just emailed the guy that sold me the necklace. I'll keep you guys posted on exactly what goes down. Meanwhile, to be on the safe side, don't buy anything from him / her yet.
