Levi's 1944 vs Levi's 1947 question

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the fit differs between the Levi's 1944 and the 1947 model. My understanding is that the 44s are slightly wider cut than the 47s but not as wide as th 55s. Is this correct? If anyone owns both could you please let me know how much wider?

The reason I ask is that I have been eyeing a pair of the BS United ONI-Denim Blue on the Hinoya site. They told me that the fit is closest to a levis 1944. I prefer a slim cut so if the 44s aren't much wider than the 47s then I will probably order. If anyone else has experience with these BS United jeans then any other info would be appreciated.

i got '44, '47 and '55, i would say '44 are wider than '55, but i got all of them in same size anyway
