Agreed. It is also possible for someone to have the same idea as you, at the same time, I mean coincedences do happen. Also as someone has already said above, I'd wear the best looking version of an idea I could find...

I hate to see my people get ripped off, but if you do somethnig and its not the best it can be I'd wanna see someones elses take on it, hence why I like the second statue tee compared to the first. As far as the whole watch inside the lining shit goes, when did you start doing that, because its not that recent as far as I've seen it

Ok, sorry I haven't been on SF in a while because I have actually had work to do :) So let me get to a response of some sort. Right now I am designing shit for hipsters. Not the kind you want to stab when you see out on any given night, but the ones who are actually cool, have their own opinion on things and can read between the lines. To be flat out most of these kids are older, in college, and if you mentioned BAPE, Hundreds, aNYthing, ALIFE, or Supreme, most of them would have no idea what you were talking about. So, when I place a design on a shirt that is bigger than 8x12, they start sweating a little bit. I have no doubt in my mind that in the next 5 years "streetwear" ie: Huge prints/all over prints/bold colors/ all that shit that makes it pop will be what fake vintage tees are today. So, when I went out to make the Statue of Liberty shirt I made it marketable. I can't tell you how many people wouldn't/won't buy it just because they want the logo dead center of the chest. When I originally thought up the shirt, Lady Liberty was supposed to start in her same place but pretty much stretch across the whole tee...but after talking to many of my customers she was shrunken down. So, to recap, I know my audience, I have a huge rent, and I need to pay it with things that sell.

Now, to address the Liberty bite, I like the sizing, there is something wrong going on in the hand/gun department, and the writing on the back is fucking retarded. "AMERICA IS FILLED WITH GANGSTAS FROM YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD DRUG DEALER TO OUR GOVERNMENT. IT'S TIME TO REALIZE AND RECOGNIZE. HERE LIBERTY COMES BY THE GUN. FROM SUN UP TO SUN DOWN. ONE.

I don't know how anyone could think a shirt with this written on the back could be dope. My dad has more hop in his hip than this lyricist. So, the ones of you who want this shirt, please by it and not mine and to the many of SF people who have supported my shit, thanks a ton, I've got some greatness on the horizon.

Now the sucky shit is this. I have about 8 new designs that are fire and I can't release them until after I go to POOL because of what I have to believe was taken from Superfuture. Also, for all you late adopters I carried IRAK in my shop in 2003. That's when the shirt labels were ironed in by hand, maybe some of you remember the sugar skulls and the Irak Attack tees. But since my shop was in a basement and didn't have marble floors, flat screens, celebs, whatever, the shit didn't move. Now I don't care that I didn't make money on the tees, but these shirts were hot and it just proves that streetwear will always be more about having money than making money. Anyways, I'm not out here to be the next BAPE, I'm just trying to open some eyes and make a living doing so. So, even with the biters out there, they will always be looking in my direction before they drop their new shit, and I know a lot more people who would rather have the original than the copy. Because I would rather see Michael dance than Usher and I wouldn't ever want someone to say, oh, cool shirt, looks like one I bought a year ago.

Dude i really like some of your stuff but seriously, even though its a bite the lady liberty on the copy just looks better. Not because shes all big and shit, but because you can plainly make her out, the colors you used for your tee make it kindof hard to see what the fuck is going on, naamean? Btw, when are you dropping that lamps tee you posted on recent purchases a while back, that shit was great.

EDIT: Nvm, those were videocameras werent they? Ill prob be picking that piece up soon.

Proletariat's shit is dope. i really like that guns making up the united states shirt, and i wanted that watch hoodie a while ago but i have like zero disposable income. i was just gonna make a stencil of it and spray one into one of my h&m hoodies but this thread puts on guilt like a motherfucker haha.

In case y'all are wondering, Superfuture has some power. Yesterday, I got a call from the guy from Akomplice, the maker of the other Liberty shirt. He told me that the dude that makes the freegoldwatch.com hoody called him and said some shit had been stirred up online and someone should take care of it. Now how the hell could these two dudes know of me, when they live in to different states, and still claim they didn't steal my designs?
