Bought a pair of jeans from online. Brand new when received, the tags were from some retail store called "Theodore". Anyway. Retail price $135.00. I've worn it 2 full days inside my house, spray the back of the knees with starch and sat in front of the computer for the two days, so there are some honeycombs.

Shape: basic 5 pocket. Pretty much straight leg.

Tag 1 says: Helmut Lang, M. Produced in 1999, Classic Denim; classic cut.

Tag 2 says: Size 30"; Made in Italy.

Actual measurements:

Waist: 31.2"

Knee: 8.5"

Cuff: 8.3

Front rise: 10.5"

Inseam: 35"

Any idea how big they were before you put them on for the first time, or, in other words, how much they've stretched?

They have probably stretched about .2 inches. In fact, I know so because I measured it before and it was at 31" all around.

I don't think I did much stretching because the jeans were never tight on my waist much. I would venture to guess that if enough pressure were exerted on the waist, it could be about another 1" to go, but I couldn't say for sure.
