noob post - question about hemming

I got a pair hemmed at Cable Car Tailors in San Francisco for $7. And also the Levi's Store in San Francisco for $10 [$15 if you bought a pair outside the store]. No it's not frayed. The only difference is if your jeans have a wash to them, the hem would be wrinkly, once hemmed it will looked like the wrinkles were ironed out. There's no way around this as far as I know but I heard washing them may bring some of the wrinkle back

If you want them and hemmed and want them to look how they do now, you'll have to have them attatch the original hem. I know denim doctors in LA does it for about 20 dollars. I'm almost certain they take phone orders if you don't live near them, but you might also be able to find someone to do it locally.
