I see where you're coming from, but if I wasn't bothered about it I wouldn't have spent so much time on the drawing. Plus artists and illustrators do draw on lined paper or even very scrappy paper. While it is certainly more appealing on plain white paper, that doesn't have to be a rule for everything.
