How long is the rise, how wide in the leg opening? Can we some closer up pix? How does the fit compare to a 1947 LVC. 100% cotton? Thanks, interested.

100 percent cotton. My camera is janky, so can't get any more photos. These are the white Levi's worn by all the mod bands in the 60s (Small Faces, Who, etc). They are higher waisted than the 47s and more tapered in the ankle. I wish they fit me, but my girlfriend bought a size too big. I've wanted these pants for years and years so I'm bummed I have to sell them.

They're really more like pants than jeans. Very nice texture to the cotton material. If you have the Sp 04 catalog, they're featured in there, called Wound Up White.

Now I rember those-I had them or something alike in the 90's from Europe. Beautiful, buit didn't really fit my body type. Otherwise I'd be on them like white on rice.

Tailoring still exists in Europe. The French and Italians, at least, still wear fitted clothing so the likelihood of finding a pair of classic cut trousers like these are much better than in the states.

but hell, we have sean johns and nike dunks. so i suppose it evens out
