Hi to you all Denim admirers,

My name is Nora and I'm opening this thread dedicated to Spellbound. As the European Agent for this Japanese denim label, I'm looking for honest opinions and straight forward reactions. I believe I came to the right place to get those!

I'm also here to answer any questions you might have on the label, sizing, fits, retailers, or anything else. And I'd be happy to see old Spellbound's, worn and torn. I know they are out there so show us what you've got!

Check out the website: www.spellboundjeans.com and a glimpse of the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection expected to hit the stores at the beginning of August.

Indeed, the same guys who own Omnigod & DMG : A Kojima based company called Domingo CO Ltd.

More detailed info will be posted soon, but for theirs pants, they used fabrics from the famous Japan Blue Collect Group (aka Momotaro). Cloth used varies from 10oz to 14oz, selvaged, nap twill selvaged & open ended air loomed cloth. from rigid over one wash to heavy washed & distressed, all done by their partner HOWA Corp, Kojima's, or better, Japan's best laundry.

As for the shirts, all traditionally made, the finest and narrowest triple needle chainstitch is used (only 3 such sewing machines do exist as for today).

It's a really dedicated company who aims for quality & (hand)crafsmanship. They already a few decades known in japan, but in january they decided to feel and explore possibilities in europe...

More info on the brand can be found on our blog : http://okiyadenimhouse.blogspot.com/search/label/SPELLBOUND

there is something REALLY strange about the spellbound website... it's in CHINESE and ENGLISH... but there is no japanese version...

are these assembled in china or something??

I like the pockets spellbound 5P garmet, but it has some essential details missing.. no hidden rivet?

japanese retail for a RAW spellbound garmet is around 15,000yen, from my memory.... the price at which you retail these will affect sales... *cough* 45rpm, Sugarcane *cough*
