  2. @beautiful_FrEaK Well damn, every time I check in Sufu after a few years, your collection has morphed from Samurai to mostly Denime. I'll be interested to see your collection in another 5 years. I still have most of my collection, but sold about 30% of it.

  6. yes, Bronson USN t shirts have the holes on both sides. The holes are used for hanging them on threads to try.
  7. Just measured with the waist pulled: 17 1/4 inch. I’m assuming the one wash measurements were indeed 18 inch with the waist pulled so in that case the waist shrunk 3/4 inch (1,5 total). Let’s say it will stretch out with wearing, so I’m left with 1 inch shrinkage as opposed to when I got them.
  8. Only just read back and seen this. I've only owned a couple of pairs of FW denims (Also a pair of Bootleggers which had similar rivets) and l didn't find them a problem, however this time as l'm ordering both jeans and jacket with bucklebacks, l decided to have all the rivets processed just to be on the safe side. I don't want to be ripping up friends' couches when on a visit. I only said yes to the rivet process because l was asked, although l left the buckle unprocessed as l didn't think it would be a problem. I can hear the groans all the way from Arbroath

  10. My recent trip to Japan yielded an obscene amount of jeans, at least enough to weather a 15-year storm, so I figured I needed to repurpose some pairs for summer so that I could still wear most of them, giving them the attention they deserve. I have always wanted a pair of Momo's, so I decided to cuff a wide-leg pair (originally 21" outseam but now running about 18" or so with cuff). I stitched them up, and after Boncoura's post, I'm planning on washing these pretty regularly to achieve similar results (more likely two years or several to achieve the same result).
  11. I bought both pairs of Imperial 26 from Self Edge because I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to take for the Indigo Invitational. I settled with the ST. So, I decided to repurpose the 47 pair into shorts. I went with a 20" outseam and stitched up the seams myself. I did this previously with a pair of Imperials from the beginning, and was pretty happy with the results. I wear jeans more often than not so the process is slow with shorts but gets me psyched to wear shorts again, as opposed to wearing pre-distressed pairs. Unfortunately, I grew out of the ones below...

What do you fine people know about the John Gluckow brand? Is the quality on par with the rest of Warehouse?
  13. Is anyone familiar with Industry of All Nations? They do a lot of indigo and iron dyed items: https://industryofallnations.com/collections/natural-dyes

  15. The measurements will be different ‘pulled’ - that being the reason I asked, and unless you wear your denims very loose then I believe it’s necessary to acknowledge the full dimensions since that’s how they’ll fit your waist. I’ve posted many times previously on this … I’ve ALWAYS found FW to meet tag size, but clearly there are multiple methods of measurement.
  16. @Duke Mantee Double-checked: I made sure the before and after measurements were taken the same way: waist laid flat and spread out but not pulled while measuring. So the amount of shrinkage would be the same, pulled or not pulled. But the end measurement might be a little bigger when pulled.

  23. Lot 147 is the widest and based on a Lee model. lot 161 is also wide and based on a Levi’s model. tha other ones I don’t know
