Trickers Sizing/info

Greetings folks.

Just wanted to gather some insight on how Trickers fit. I am in need of a dress shoe/boot and Trickers is the only brand of footwear that seems to make dress shoes/boots that look absolutely amazing dressed up or down.

Styles: Brogue Boot, Staw, and Malton

I have looked for places that may sell Trickers from NY to DC (where I reside) and Philly with no luck. and if they stock I heard Scoop NY did, they were out of stock. If there is a stockist for the US, thats on the east coast, id love to know.

I normally wear:

sz10 Nike, Visvim, Clarks, Dr Martens ect.

sz9 Converse

sz9.5 Red Wings, some Clarks

sz43 Common Projects

10.5 Vans era/authentic and Adidas shell toe

I hope that wasnt confusing. I just through out the most notible brands in regards to sizing.

I plan to order a pair offline so I figured I get the sizing down.

In my experience, Trickers run a size big.

I have a pair of wingtips in size UK 8, which translates to US 9, but they fit like US 10's. I wear the following sizes: Nikes 10, Converse 9.5, Visvim 9.5, Redwing 9, Clarks 9.5, Doc Martens 10

So when you order, pay attention to if it's UK size or US size. also be aware there may be some sizing variance between models... Hope that helps.

From my experience I would size down a full size. I wear a 13 in nikes and wear a us11.5/12 or uk11 in all my hard bottoms: trickers, dior, lanvin, church's etc. Remember you'll probably being wearing thin dress socks with a pair of tricker's so that will affect the sizing. I suggest if you go for a bespoke pair, go all out and look into edward green, john lobb, or to a lesser extent, crockett & jones. Tricker's are nice but in my experience "lower range" English dress shoes. The Lobb's or Greens are much more expensive, especially besopke, but the C & Js are similar to Tricker's price range and, to me, a better all around shoe. Good luck and check on ebay. Although you can't try them on there are some great deals to be had.

I just got the Trickers for Present acorn derby brogues and I would say they fit TTS, if not 1/2 size big. At first, they felt a tad tight on the top of my foot, but they started loosening up after a few wears, as most leather hard bottoms do. I love them to death and they have become a part of my everyday wear (ALMOST!)

I would get on those Present ones fast, they only have one pair of each size. Also, just be ready to pay customs fees on top, probably around $40.
