Getting Ink Out of Denim

So some idiot girl thought it'd be hilarious to put 7-8 lines of pen all over my N&F Weird Guys at a party.

I don't want to wash them, and I just soaked them. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get it out without taking the colour out of the denim?

Um... hmm... I don't think your going to get them out without taking color out of them. Simply rubbing a cloth on them gets the cloth blue.

If it's not bad I would just wear them. If they're that new you surely can't see the ink that well? I've had most stains just go away with wear, ha.

They are about 8 months old. And yeah, for most denim you wouldn't be able to notice, but it was a black pen on the vintage blue wash, and the lines are about 5-6 inches, and there is like 9 of them all over the upper thigh. It looks fucking ridiculous. Needless to say, I'm pissed, I really don't want to wash them.

Vinegar worked for me in the past.

Pure ethanol (95%), or everclear(>70%) should work with blotting. Iso-propyl/wood alcohol should work as well, although for some reason I find is less effective than the former when removing ink.
