Question about Pea Coats

My Schott pea coat arrived today, after being back ordered for 2 months. Anyway, I'm begining to think they sent me the wrong color. I ordered a navy blue one, but what I got looks black. Now, I know that Navy blue can sometimes look pretty dark, but it doesn't seem blue at all. Is this normal? Am I supposed to break it in or something? or did they mess up? Thanks

do they sell a black one? I'd look at it under bright light to be sure, or tear some fibers out and put it on white paper to compare

"navy blue" looks black. i have 2 navy issue coats, labled blue, and they are so dark they look black.
