How do you make boots less loud?

So I have these wooden-heeled boots and they are very loud with every step. It gets pretty awkward when you walk into class and it sounds like you're wearing highheels! (I'm a guy)

Anything I can do to make them less noisy, like is there something that I can cover up the heel with to make them quieter?
