SOLD!

Hello, I bought these Obedient Sons Pants from fellow member leroi, unfortunately they are too thick for my skinny body and I can't make them work for me, so I must pass the parcel. I have only tried them on once for this reason.

They're up for the same price I bought them off him for, SOLD! (this will cost me more as I live in Australia but I am happy to ship to the US at my expense, as this is what the pants were originally selling for). Here is his original post.

If you'd like more pictures or have any questions about them, please don't hesitate to ask.

Measurements:

Waist: 14.5" (37 cm) laid flat

Thigh: 9.5" (24 cm)

Front Rise: 10" (25 cm)

Back Rise: 13" (33 cm)

Inseam: 29" (75 cm) (meant to be slightly above ankle as seen in runway pic)

Outseam: 38.5" (98 cm)

Hem: 16 cm before elastic, 14 cm after elastic

I've had questions regarding the waist, it has a little bit of elastic so I would say anyone with a true 28-30" waist would fit them fine, but no bigger, I would guess however that most people with a true 30" waist would wear size 28 anyway though due to vanity sizing.

Obedient Sons pants

I bought these from BBlessing when they were having that exclusive weekend-long trunk sale of Japan-only Obedient Sons stuff. They're a size 28, and were handmade in New York (if I would have to guess, judging by what I've seen of their suiting, they were made at Martin Greenfields in Brooklyn, who also hand-makes Band of Outsiders and Patrik Ervell suiting -- but, again, I could be wrong).

They fit perfectly, they're beautiful pants, impeccably made, but unfortunately I can't find a way to make them mesh with the rest of my closet. They have been sitting, folded and sealed, in storage since the day I got them from BBlessing. They have never been worn out of the house, and only tried on twice at most (like I said, I tried to make them work...)

I am looking for no more than I paid for them from BBlessing (which, I should add, was already significantly reduced from retail) : $165 shipped.

The waist is about 14 and a half inches across when laid flat (consider this an approximation, as the material is really thick and hard to lay perfectly flat); but to give you an idea, I wear a size 0 in Thom Browne, a size 30 in Patrik Ervell, and a 28 in Levis. The inseam, including the band, is about 29 in, and about 26.5 not including the band. I may have measured it a little off, but I think that's about right, as I usually wear a 30 inseam and these fit ever-so-slightly cropped.

And hey, let us not forget: Obedient Sons is no more. If you buy these, you're buying a piece of history!
