so i just installed the new firefox update (for mac)... and it looks like utter shit.

all text is rendered in 1337speax?

i did install some fonts today too... might be some sort of conflict?

anyone know wtf i should do to get it right again?

check some of rajios wisdom pour example.

do u use suitcase to organize your fonts?

nah i dont use anything, i just chucked them in the font folder in home-->library....

i might just delete out the new ones i installed (not particularly useful ones anyway) and see if it works?

just deleted all the shitty fonts i installed over the last week or so.. i couldnt be arsed to figure out which exact one was shitting on my party.

you don't need to put any of the fonts anywere to install them. you just double-click them and it'll open a FontBook window for each font and you click "Install". something like Suitcase is good if you have a shitload.

Okay – At least with this you know it's not your Firefox install that's corrupted, but the way your system actually is handling fonts. It looks like the new fonts you installed overwrote your default fonts. I did a google search and found this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=538418)

Looks like it might be the Metallica one that may be causing problems. Shoot me a PM if you need more help.

yes.... i installed a metallica font yesterday.

ive already fixed it all now, and have decided against the metallica font (for the project) since anyway.
