ande, thanks again man you did an amazing job.

these are 90cm Grifter. measure about 35" waist, 35" inseam and a front rise about 10-10.5". leg opening at hem is 16.5"

overall a very nice slim fit.

ok here's a dumb question: How do you get dry denim to pool around your feet like that? I'm sick of cuffing my jeans and want them to look like that, but they're too stiff to just let them hang (otherwise the whole leg gets kind of crinkly and looks dumb).

dry denim is heavy in starch, so i just spray the bottom 10" of the pant legs lightly with water in a spray bottle (not enough to drench it). then the starch in the jeans becomes "activated" again. and i manually crush them into creases.

and yes those are glossy/oily leather chucks i picked up in Japan

thats enough to give it a bunched leg look (just not as much).

wet the hem area, take the bottom 4 inches and just crush them into a ball in your fingers and work the creases flat the way you want them to fold. after they dry, the starch in the denim will set and they will stay that way.

it also helps (and looks better IMO) if you slouch your jeans below the waist.
