I need to expand my jeans collection

and I'm thinking of either getting some Nudie Slim Jims or I could probably get some Evisu jeans for around $110.

I'd have to pay full price for the Slim Jims (likely) so which is the better route to take?

I been rappin' for about 17 years..

I don't write my stuff anymore,

I just kick it from my head you know what I'm sayin I can do that.

neither.

if you want slim jump on one of the other swedish brands.

if you are looking for a japanese brand edwin is better value than evisu

if you can spend more you should look further than any othe mentioned brands

you were asking for slim jim so you are obviously into the whole skinny swedish look.

i have heard good reviews about both acne and julian red.

evisu -- other end of the table, go for sugarcanes or samurais. you'll spend but it will be worth it.

from what I've seen at least...

Evisu, Samurai, Edwin, etc. all seem to be a bit of a baggier look.

At least compared to the Slim Jims

most of the samurai/edwin/eternal etc are levi repros, and are cut accordingly to the year. ie. the 501 cut that levi's produced in 1947 is much slimmer than in 1955.

that said, 501s never really were "drainpipe" skinny like slimjims, so you'll never see that. evisu is generally worn huge, from what i've seen anyway. they do have some slimmer cuts, but i have yet to see anyone rocking it.
