APC BLOWOUT: Standards, chinos, shorts, shirts, outerwear – many styles

Dear Folks:

Mack11211 here. I don't have a long track record on sufu but I have thousands of positive feedbacks on ebay. I'm also well known on styleforum.net, where this thread began.

I have a small quantity of APC items in several styles.

There are Standards, short sleeve shirts, khaki and red pants & shorts and outerwear.

These are overstocks. The APC tag behind the neck or at the back of the waist has been cut out, but all items are authentic and first quality.

These items are also available on ebay, but for higher prices.

SHIRTS

The shirts and some outerwear items are red-coated tan cotton canvassy fabric. It looks like some rubberized cotton fabrics but it is not rubberized nor it is water resistant. The label here states in French and English, “The fabric used in this garment has been dyed and then coated with a pigment that makes it more fragile. Both machine washing and dry cleaning will result in a shortening in length and a washed out looked (sic).”

What this means is that the color will wear off as you rub it in the course of wear or machine washing or dry cleaning. This means you can make it your own, just as you would with APC denim.

I think you should wash it lots of times to get a nice broken-in look.

The shirt has a point collar and buttons down the front.

Sizing:

L top to bottom 31, shoulder 19.5, arm 10, chest 47.

After one machine washing in cold water and air drying, the measurements of the L were

Top to bottom 30.5, shoulder 19, arm 9.5, chest 46.

So do make allowance for this shrinkage when ordering.

OUTERWEAR

The shirt jacket coat here has two breast pockets, which are double: both a flapped pocket and an unflapped pocket behind. Handwarmer pockets at the hips. Epaulets on shoulders. There is a button front and button cuffs. One rear vent. Unlined.

In red coated canvassy fabric with tan backing like the shirt above, and with the same fabric advisory.

This band collar cotton denim coat has a subtle APC logo on the left breast as shown. Fabric is all cotton denim, soft, feels line one wash. This coat has a soft band collar, a breast pocket, and handwarmer pockets. No button or snap at the cuff. Unlined. No rear vent.

STANDARD DENIM

This is selvage denim in tan. Standards pre-date New Standards. The rise is slightly higher. Think James Dean in GIANT. Measurements are BiG style. Available sizes are 25-30. Refer to other APC threads for sizing advice. All pair are new and unworn. The denim is raw and stiff. Some pair may have a bit of rubber-cement-like adhesive on the right thigh from removed APC size stickers; this may easily be removed.
