so i am a local denim enthusiast as well as personal shopper. but i am being brought in to do some local air time to discuss denim buying for dummies. Here is where i need your help. I know what i do to find the right jeans for me but i need a broader spectrum of opinions. what are some of the things you do to tell how much they will streatch, fit, wear etc? what do you do to determine quality denim from the crap (disregarding using the labels). this is the type of situation where i cannot say look for Japanese selvage denim. so Help out the denim community and lets start some talks and threads on tips for the laymen and new comers. help me out please!

i realize we have SUFU for this. we are a smaller segment of a broader community. but i cant support a segment saying go look up answers to questions on this site. I can just use my opinions, and what i have found to be true. but i wanted to get some feedback on how other people do it. so i can kind of turn people on to the idea that there is more to jeans then sale denim at the gap. also for some reason when i click on links i get blank pages. so i am at a bit of a handicap if you would like to help out please by all means hit me up with some of your best practices if not no big deal. thanks.
