I'm a huge fan of Magnolia Electric Co ever since the Songs: Ohia days -

Also been into Land Of Talk recently -

Richard Buckner is the dude (his live shows can be kind of strange, he loves his ebow) -

I really like Damien Jurado as well -

Bon Iver IS god....recordings don't do him justice, seeing him live is bullshit good.

Justin is writing new tracks and has been recording with Kanye West apparently. Moar cross-genres do not want.

Speaking of Justin Vernon.

Not to stoked on everyone getting on some bon iver hype after the kanye album comes out, nor am i keen on the idea of him doing collabs with the likes of rick ross/nicki minaj :(

But yo, I think i'm seeing the xx in oakland some time in september, and maybe stars as well.

Boy, pretty stooooooked.

Add me up fools.

umm hasn't the bon iver hype passed already?? it's been about 3 years now...

xx is pretty boring in concert, saw them earlier this summer, they need to work on their stage presence. stars are good live, lots of energy, but the new album is mehhhhh. hopefully they won't play most of the new stuff...

band of horses is <3.

of montreal is terrible.

is anyone else obsessed with justin vernon/bon iver?

he is god.

i6S__IpVpSQ

how can you compare justin vernon to kevin barnes? I mean, I like both, and have seen bon iver live, but still. the lyrical value (less Skeletal Lamping) seems superior in Of Montreal.

If it's the voice you don't like, I get it. I happen to be fine w/ it. but the rest I think is great.

That pitchfork interview w/ Vernon is pretty funny though.
