I recently found some dry denim with smallest amount of stretch and was tryin to make my 2nd pair of jeans, i tried creating some whiskering and fading by just sanding it, whiskers look kinda fake, kinda like tsubi whiskering :P

there are pics up

so guys tell me what you think

the back pocket design looks abit tacky to me, but i luv my pocket lining inside!

ps. had only one wash, didnt want to wear them cuz was too stiff before the wash, way too stiff! but wantin to keep washing until i get the right colour.

pps. the cut i had made was skinny tapered with zips on the bottom

after one wash, before customisation

definitely going to have to even out the rest of the jean, unfortunately those front whiskers look almost painted on. it would be pretty tough to get whiskers like that without having ANY wear on the back from wallets etc, and no fading on the front of the leg.

the fading on the front of the leg mid thigh should pretty much be the lightest part, and whiskers should fade accordingly.

bit of work and i think you can save them.

i think you did a good job, if you made the jean from scratch, i like the first ones, as i been feeling the same color stitching for a while now,

2nd, i think you did a ok job on sanding, could sand more different area, as to achieve the over all effect.

and no matter how many times you wash it, it wont fade as fast you desire, take them to a laudry mat and wash it with stones, like gardening srtones, the light weight orange looking stones, those will bring down the color, or you could use bleach from 20 to 40 minutes, that way you cold bring down the color also.

but i think you did a pretty good job
