what should i wear with white pants?

i just bought a pair of white pants with gold stitching and i have no idea what to wear it with. i only have worn it once with a red buffalo plaid flannel but now i cant think of any other options.

I wouldn't mind seeing some fits with white pants put together as well... I picked up some Varvatos white denim over Christmas and have a hard time putting something together with them other than black top / black shoes. It'd be nice to see some options...
