This is my first attempt using this technique. Do you think it is worth pursuing? Would any of you where a shoe like this? Any and all comments are welcome.

Looks good to me, but you will have to compete with the special edition converse made by mexican children.

On a side note, have you ever tried to hook up with the Rogue Gallery people? I saw their entire collection at Earnest Sewn this fall and was blown away.

it's interesting, but not innovative, nor unique design-wise.

i would devote some time to coming up with a. better designs or b. something that's got more of a wow-factor than painting a pair of canvas sneakers.

the rogue gallery hook-up recommendation is seconded, from what i've read in yr postings across the board.

I know Alex Carlton, of Rogues Gallery, very well. He is a freakin' genius and deserves all the success he is having lately.

Just to be clear....the shoes aren't "painted". They were first dyed with reactive dye and then the graphic was sprayed on utilizing a formula I've recently developed.

looks like a random custom anyone could do on first sight, but considering your method of dying and spraying it's pretty dope. i'm sure once your name gets out a little more people will be all over this, same goes for your shirts. keep it up.

i definitely like the design and style. personally i'd prefer it in a different colour.

looks good jay! mad respect for your technical skills btw! same goes for your shirts, amazing dyes etc. really something special.

as for these sneakers like i said they look good en are nicely made but i think you have to do something different to stand-out. but i'm sure you'll figure something out, keep up the good work!

Personally, i think those designs would look crazy on vans slip ons..

to me, those take the all-over designs much better than the chucks....

just my $0.02 and keep up the experimenting.
