FS: Flat Head Houndstooth red/black sz 36

Got up for sale a Flat Head red/black Houndstooth shirt. It is a size 36 but lately ive been gaining weight and its a bit snug on me now.

Great condition minus a small stain. Not sure what the stain is but ive washed it and it didnt come out.

Measurements are:

pit to pit: 17"

chest: 18"

top of collar to bottom: 28"

shoulder seam to cuff: 22.5"

im confused...hows is the pit to pit smaller than the chest measurement?
