i dont like the new seasons that much because jack&tony are just beacons of morality now instead of genuinely conflicted characters

first season was great because he had to make so many personal decisions like should he cap palmer or get his daughter killed (the answer is neither and just kill all the bad dudes)

or in the one where he's on heroin there are tons of moments like that

now he's just a right decision machine and a justification for torture
