Tokyo based designer Tomoaki Okaniwa presented the latest collection for his label The Viridi-Anne, titled “The Chrysalis”, in Paris. The collection was presented in a showroom during fashionweek and on Saturday the 24th, the space was turned into one of the best parties in town. A lit up garment installation was shown in the basement alongside a bar, packed full with fashion enthusiasts and friends of the label. “We have shown in the space for six years now, they are like family” said Okaniwa while pointing out to one of the owners of the space. The designers was very happy with the outcome of the party as well as response to the collection. It featured all the signature elements of Viridi-Anne; muted colours, interesting and well thought out cuts, great materials and most importantly solid construction.

Good job Lowrey. Excited to see the looks and more detail shots, though I don't mind staring at cool lit up pieces of clothing until then. Though given the extra pic in the link, it looks like it's still going to be predominantly dark everywhere. Was hoping for a bit more colour.

i'd be scared that one of those light bulbs would send the pieces up in flames...
